Andrea Barlow

Andrea was born in 1966 in Derbyshire, England and made the Algarve her home over 20 years ago. Working primarily in acrylics from her studio in Montes de Alvor, Portimão, she draws her inspiration from the calm, simplicity of rural life which helps her to create freely, applying colours and layers without limitations and allowing her paintings to dictate the direction. Andrea has had two solo exhibitions in Alvor, Portimão and many of her paintings are held in private collections here in Portugal and also the UK and Canada
